Africa's most attended conference
Johannesburg, 30th November 2016 – The TROPICS MEDIA GROUP (TMG) announces its collaboration as new media partner of the 8th edition of the Women Advancement Forum to be held on 4-8 December at Maslow Hotel, Sandton on South African soil.
This year again, the Women Advancement Forum will gather international participants on a thematic developed from a women point of view (Transforming The World Through Women Empowerment & Advancement for Sustainable Development by 2030). CEOs, medical doctors, authors, artists, research workers, journalists, political women, a brilliant distribution of brainstorming will shape the 2016 outlines of a world whose growth depends on sensitive and united values.
The longevity of this forum entirely depends on business and media partnerships.
Partnering on a long-term basis with an institution engaged for women, whose growing influence puts Women Advancement & Society among the most influential platforms in the world, is meaningful for a Group dedicated to producing positive media coverage of women’s issues and lifestyle, peace and stability which, in its original homeland, is a referent in terms of women elevation inside the company.
Already involved since 2010, the TROPICS MEDIA GROUP (TMG) wishes to reaffirm its commitment on the women cause.
“Inside a company mostly feminine with 80% of women represented, we’ve made the choice of a representative and equal executive board, and surrounded ourselves by as many « qualified women » as men in those high leading functions” declares Vénicia Guinot, Chairwoman/Founder of TROPICS MEDIA GROUP. “For instance we have, for that matter, chosen Mrs. Valerie Sosso-Moukouelle to lead the editorial management of TROPICS MAGAZINE and the executive management of the TROPICS MEDIA GROUP that is to position the Group as a major prestige player in the worldwide media sector.”
During the 2016 Women Advancement Forum, the TROPICS MEDIA GROUP team will be present in a dedicated space with activities related to the brand. Our Chairwoman/Founder will be the host/anchor of two panel discussions and will be honored with a WAF-Think Gender Award 2016 at the forthcoming Women Advancement Forum 2016 holding from 4-8 December in Johannesburg, South Africa.
